Our group, The Greece Neighborhood Association Waterfront (GNAW), representing four Town of Greece waterfront neighborhoods and over 200 petition signers against short-term rentals in our residential neighborhoods, became aware that one owner of four problematic, short-term rentals had violated the Town Code and was appealing the subsequent permit revocation decision before the town Board of Zoning Appeals. The applicant had hired an attorney and our group felt we needed professional counsel to counter the arguments brought before the town board requesting reinstatement of the rental permits.

We were referred to the Zoghlin Group, as zoning codes is one area of their experience, in addition to their experience representing clients appearing before local Zoning Boards. We sent them all our documentation, and they were able to compile an argument against the appeal, which eventually won our case, and that of the TOWN’s law being upheld.
